This is What the World Would Look Like…If There Were Only 100 People That Lived in It

Have you ever thought what the world would be like if there were only 100 people? Well somebody did! According to statistical research, the world’s population would be divided evenly: 50 men and 50 women. Only 17 people would be illiterate! Taking statistical information like this about literacy, education, religion, language, and many other socially-conscious topics, graphic designer Jack Hagley decided to create an info graphic that gives us a scaled down view of our current world. (Multiply the numbers by 70 million, and you’ll get a rough estimate of the number of people represented in each category, in relation to today’s population.
