If you love plants, your home is probably littered with them, but do you have the right plants? I figure if you’re going to have plants in your home anyways, why not go for those that clean the air and inject your house with much needed oxygen? NASA has revealed its list of best air-cleaning plants for your home. The main benefits of these plants is air-filtering, but NASA also found that these plants are effective at removing benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, and ammonia from the air – chemicals that have been linked to negative health effects like headaches, dizziness, eye irritation, and others.

According to this study, the best plants are The Florist’s Mum and Peace Lilly. It is also recommend to have one of these plants per 100 square feet.
